Will you mail me the actual cards?
No. PINs and Instructions will be e-mailed to you. If you would like to get the actual cards, you need to call us with this order. We charge extra for shipping and there is no sense paying for this, until you are a calling card collector and would like to have our cards as a part of your collection.

How long does it take to receive ordered PINs?
For first time buyers it might take up to 48 hours. We verify each and every customer to prevent fraud. If you are the first time customer and want your PINs to be delivered faster, please avoid using free e-mail addresses like Yahoo and Hotmail. Please provide your daytime contact phone number, so we contact you faster.
Customers who made purchases on LDPOST.COM in the past will get their PINs immediately over e-mail.

What is a "cookie" and what should I do about cookie warnings?
A cookie is a tiny packet of information passed between your browser and a Web site such as ldpost.com. Our web store uses cookies to verify your identity and the fact that you're properly signed in. Accepting the cookie is like writing your name on the name tag; it identifies the message as yours so that you can continue using the site without having to sign in again. Cookies are required to be enabled in your browser to use our web store. If you can't move beyond next "Select Card" screen this would indicate that your browser does not allow cookies. Internet Explorer users need to change the privacy settings to enable cookies. Netscape users need to change Advanced preferences to accept cookies. Directions for some popular browsers follow:

* Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0: On the View menu, click Internet Options. Then, on the Advanced tab, click the "Always accept cookies" option.
* Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0: On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Then, on the Security tab, click Default level. Click Apply, then click "OK."
* Netscape Navigator 3.0: On the Options menu, click Network Preferences. Then, in the "Show an alert before…" box on the Protocols tab, clear the "Accepting a cookie" box.
* Netscape Navigator 4.x: On the Edit menu, click Preferences. Choose the Advanced category. In the cookies dialog box, choose either "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" or "Accept all cookies." Be sure to clear the "Warn me before accepting cookies" checkbox.
* AOL: On the Preferences menu, click the Advanced tab. Clear the "Warn before accepting 'cookies'" box.

This site uses a feature of your browser called a "cookie" to assign a "User I.D.". Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to find out the identity of any user. Your LDPost User ID automatically identifies your computer - but not you - to our servers when you visit our web store. If you are just browsing our site, we will never know who you: we do not assign you a cookie.

Is my credit card number safe?
LDPOST.com uses the Secure Sockets Layer and Private Communication Technology security standards that are supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later and other popular browsers. SSL encodes your personal information (such as your password, address and phone number, or your credit card number) so that it is available only to you and the financial services providers with which we process your credit cards transactions. This encryption makes doing business over the Internet as secure as making a purchase by telephone.

Can I use a credit card with an international billing address?
At this time, you will not be able to purchase phone cards with your non-USA credit card via our web store. You can use a credit card with US billing address when buying calling cards on the web or you can pay by check or money order for the purchase -follow this link for order form and instructions.

Why may I see extra charges on my credit card when checking unbilled card activity, immediately after placing an order?
After you place an order with LD Post, your credit-card company first makes an authorization on your account - in effect, checking to make sure you have enough available credit in your account to cover your order. The credit-card company then checks that the address and account number match those in its records. If there is a match, your purchase is approved and the authorized amount is immediately billed.
If there is not a match, your credit-card company keeps the authorized amount in "escrow" for a week, pending further attempts to verify the account and requested transaction. If the purchase is not verified within a week, the amount in escrow is returned to your account - and it will no longer appear if you check your credit-card account online.
If you check your credit-card account using your bank's Web-based tools, you will see amounts being held in escrow AND actual charges being billed. The online listing does not differentiate between pending and actual charges. This is also true for debit cards - and unfortunately, money being held in escrow will not be available for other uses while the transaction is pending.
Please be assured that even though you may see them online, these "escrow" activities DO NOT APPEAR in your final bill. If you see what looks like a duplicate charge when checking your credit or debit card account online, we suggest you wait for your paper bill before assuming that you've been double-billed. In almost all cases, you will find only one charge on your final bill.

Is there a volume discount in the web store?
There is 10% discount given automatically on all $100.00 purchases. So, if you place an order for $100.00 regardless of the card types your are ordering, your credit card will be charged only $90.00. First time buyers can’t get this discount in the WEB STORE as the maximum order amount for the first time buyers is $20.00. If you are the first time buyer and want to place order larger then $20.00, call us at 1-800-449-0445 and we will take your order over the phone.

What is Loyal Customer reward program?
This program is intended to do exactly as it is implied in its title - to reward the loyalty of LDPOST customers.
For every purchase* you made on LDPOST, you earn points. For each dollar spend, you will earn one point. You need to accumulate 100 point to be eligible for redemption. For each 100 points earned you are eligible to receive one $5 card of your choice with your next purchase. The redemption offer will appear on your Select Cards screen after your have accumulated 100 points or more. You do not have to redeem your points at 100-point level. Points keep accumulating with your purchases, so you can redeem bigger card denominations later.
For example, you have accumulated 500 points. On your select card screen you will see a menu with choices of cards for redemption – $5, $10, $20 and $50. For 500 points you can receive in total $25 worth of cards. You need to make a purchase to redeem your rewards.
To view points accumulated, please log on to the web store. It will be displayed at the bottom of select cards screen. You can also view accumulated points by clicking on History.
* Exceptions: Points can not be accumulated on any volume discount purchases.
This program starts on August 20th of 2002. Only purchases made after August 20th 2002 are eligible for points accumulation.
